The Washington School Heritage Foundation was formed in October 2024 as a nonprofit, charitable, 501(c)3 corporation. It works closely with the Advisory Committee and the City of Stillwater to progress redevelopment of the property.

The Foundation conducts fundraising, commissions and manages engineering and design, funds and organizes volunteer work for Washington School redevelopment.
Work Day 2025

The Foundation actively seeks donors and holds fundraising events. The events not only raise funds, they honor the heritage of the students, the teachers and the history of Stillwater's African American community.
